Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the first respondent to extend the time prescribed in the Letter No.902/MME.2/2021-1 dated 26.02.2021 for a period of one month on and from 05.04.2021 to comply with the deposit of Rs.3,86,00,000/- to the District Treasury and to submit approved plan thereafter as required under Rule 12 of Granite Conservation and Development Rules, 1999.

This petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the first respondent to extend the time prescribed in the Letter No.902/MME.2/2021-1 dated 26.02.2021 for a period of one month on and from 05.04.2021 to comply with the deposit of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Rs.3,86,00,000/- to the District Treasury and to submit approved plan thereafter as required under Rule 12 of Granite Conservation and Development Rules, 1999.

2. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

3. As the prayer in the writ petition is for extension of time to comply with some deposit, without going in to the merits of the case, this court deems it fit to extend time till 22.04.2021 for the petitioner to deposit the sum of Rs.3,86,00,000/- to the District Treasury and the first respondent is directed to accept the payment.

4. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. However there is no order as to costs.
