[ Respondent] Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.07.2017 to issue patta in respect of the property in Survey No.117/2A having Patta No.297, measuring total extent of acres 2 cents 14 in Manamangalam Village, Tharamangalam Sub Registrar Office, Salem District.

ORDER

Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the main writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a writs of mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to consider his representation dated 13.07.2017 for the issuance of patta in respect of the property in Survey No.117/2A, Patta No.297, measuring an extent of 2 acres and 14 cents in Manamangalam Village, Tharamangalam Sub Registrar Office, Salem District.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that in spite of the petitioner's representation dated 13.07.2017 for the issuance of patta, the 2nd respondent has not passed any order so far.

4. Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the 2nd respondent may be directed to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 13.07.2017, in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties.

5. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.07.2017 for the issuance of patta

and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving notice to all the interested parties.

With this observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. 17.08.2017 rg To
