ORDER

The relief sought for in this writ petition is for a direction to direct the first respondent to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner on 20.2.2010 in order to take action against the Makkal Nalapaniyalar and Village Assistant of Kilkuppam Village.

2. The writ petitioner was holding the post of President of the Panchayat and in his capacity as the Panchayat President, given some complaints to the District Collector in respect of certain illegalities and malpractices.

3. The learned counsel, appearing on behalf of the writ petitioner, states that the writ petitioner has given a complaint in respect of certain corrupt activities and the Collector has not taken any action. Now that the writ petitioner is not holding the post of President and the Special Officer is functioning and it is left open to the writ petitioner to send the complaint to the appropriate authority in the manner known to law. This Court cannot issue any such direction in respect of the malpractices, corrupt practices etc., and a proper complaint is to be lodged before the Competent Authorities for initiating appropriate action.
