PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondents to produce the body of the detenu by name Logesh, Son of petitioner herein aged 27 years, presently confined at Central Prison, Salem, before this Court and set him at liberty forthwith, after calling for the records pertaining to the detention order dated 20.02.2024 in C.M.P.No.07/GOONDA/2024/(M1), passed by the 2nd respondent, quash the same.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner, as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, by producing a copy of the Government Order in G.O.Rt.No.1910, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIV) Department, dated 01.04.2024, submitted that the detention order has already been revoked.
2. Recording the said submission, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands dismissed as infructuous.
