ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] Alleging that the order dated 11.01.2019 made in I.A.No.10950/2018 in O.S.No.4559 of 2018 by the XIV Assistant Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai, the present contempt petition has been filed.

2.In compliance with the earlier order and as agreed upon, a further sum of Rs.20,000/- has been paid. The contemnor has expressed his inability to comply with the order of this Court. It is also agreed by the petitioner, who is represented by counsel, that the maintenance amount can be modified from Rs.10,000/- to Rs.8,000/-. 3.In such view of the matter, the maintenance amount ordered by the Court below stands modified from Rs.10,000/- to Rs.8,000/-. The contemnor is directed to pay a sum of Rs.4,000/- to the petitioner on or before 15th of every succeeding English calendar month and a sum of Rs.4,000/- on or before 30th of every succeeding English calendar month.

4.With the above modification, this contempt petition stands closed.
