Prayer: Petition filed under Section 11(6) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, to appoint a sole Arbitrator to adjudicate upon the disputes between the petitioner and the respondent arising out of the Agreement to lease dated 03.12.2010.

ORDER
After arguing the matter, the learned counsels appearing on either side have agreed for the Arbitrator to be appointed to resolve the disputes between the two. Since the entire cause of action arose in Bangalore and also as per Clause 20 of the Joint Development Agreement dated 03.10.2009, the Arbitration shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Bangalore City Civil Courts the parties are requested to appoint an Arbitrator in Bangalore.
2.In the light of the above circumstances, this Court is passing the following orders:
i)Thiru.S.R.Somasekhara, Principal District Judge (Retd), Bengaluru, Rural District, Karnataka, is appointed as an Arbitrator. ii) The arbitrator may, after issuing notice to the parties and upon hearing them, pass an award as expeditiously as possible, preferably within 2/4
a period of six months from the date of receipt of the order. It is open to the respondent to raise all legal objections as to the validity of contract. iii) The arbitrator is at liberty to fix the remuneration and other incidental expenses as per law.
The petition is ordered as above.
