It appears that the respondents have rejected the request made by the petitioner for regularisation with retrospective effect. If that is the case, the remedy open to the petitioner is to challenge it in the manner known to law. Accordingly, the contempt application is closed. However, liberty is given to the petitioner to question the order passed by the respondent in the manner known to law and it is open to the petitioner to raise all the contentions.
