ORDER

(Made by Dr. ANITA SUMANTH, J.) Read this order in continuation of and in conjunction with order dated 05.03.2026 that reads as follows:- Mr.R.Muniyapparaj, learned Additional Public Prosecutor assisted by Mr.M.Sylvester John, learned counsel accepts notice for the respondents.

2. He has preliminary instructions to state that the detenue, V.Elavarasi, aged 25years is engaged in an illicit relationship with a married man, one Murugesan, and the police are in the process of securing her.

3. List on 06.04.2026. Let necessary steps be taken to secure the detenue and counter filed prior to the next date of hearing, with a copy served in advance upon the other side.

2. The matter is listed under a special list today as learned Additional Public Prosecutor had mentioned at the time of calling that the detenue has been secured.

3. The detenue appears before us and states that she had willingly 2/4

left her parental home to pursue her own career interests. In any event, she confirms that there is no illegal custody by any person. The detenue being a major aged about 25 years i.e., date of birth being 05.06.2001, (Aadhar card is placed on file), there is no further necessity to entertain this matter.

4. Recording the aforesaid, this habeas corpus petition is closed. No costs.
