O R D E R
This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the second respondent to issue nativity certificate to the petitioner namely Rashidha based on her application dated 06.02.2023 within a time frame fixed by this Court.
2. Today when the matter is taken up for hearing learned Government Advocate (Puducherry) appearing for the respondents has submitted that pursuant to the earlier order of this Court dated 17.03.2023, the second respondent after careful verification vide proceedings bearing No.1333/TOP/C/2023 dated 20.03.2023 rejected the application dated 06.02.2023 seeking issuance of nativity certificate in terms of G.O.Ms.No.48 dated 12.12.2002, on the ground that the petitioner's father namely J.Shahul Hameed is not physically residing in the address mentioned and he has also submitted a copy of the aforesaid proceedings before this Court. 2/4
3. On a perusal of the proceedings of the second respondent dated 20.03.2023, this court is of the view that no further adjudication is required in this writ petition.
4. Accordingly, this writ petition is closed with a liberty to the petitioner to challenge the said rejection order dated 20.03.2023 in the manner known to law. No costs.
