O R D E R

The present criminal original petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register the petitioner's complaint dated 13.01.2016.

2. The petitioner is doing business pertaining to iron materials at No.121, Ramalan Nagar, Saaramedu, Karumbukadai, Coimbatore - 8. While so, on 12.01.2016, at about 12 p.m., when the petitioner was proceeding towards the shop, one Sharjeen @ Ibrahim, S/o.Syed Mohammed and four others together were breaking the shutter and the rack which would be used in the shop. When the petitioner questioned the said persons, they have abused the petitioner with filthy language and threatened the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner has given a complaint on 13.01.2016 with the respondent police. But, no action has been taken on the said complaint till date. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present criminal original petition.

3. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

appearing for the respondent.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on receipt of the complaint of the petitioner, C.S.R.No.8 of 2016 has been assigned and the matter is pending for enquiry.

5. In view of the submissions made on either side, this Court directs the respondent to conduct enquiry on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 13.01.2016 in C.S.R.No.8 of 2016 and dispose the same in accordance with law, as early as possible. If no prima facie case is made out for registering the case, the respondent is directed to pass an appropriate order on the complaint of the petitioner.

6. This criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
