ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to register a complaint dated 11.05.2016 given by the petitioner and to investigate the same in accordance with law.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. On 11.07.2016, this Court has passed the following order :

"Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned APP submitted that the petitioner is not co-operating in the

enquiry which is refuted by the learned counsel for the petitioner. The petitioner is directed to appear before the Investigating Officer for enquiry.

Post on 25.07.2016."

4. Today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the complaint dated 11.05.2016, given by the petitioner is being enquired by the Sub Inspector of Police, Vellode Police Station, Erode District, and not by the Inspector of Police, Arachalur Police Station, Arachalur, Erode District.

5. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor also submitted that pursuant to the order passed by this Court on 11.07.2016, the petitioner appeared before the Vellode Police Station and he has been directed to produce certain documents which he has undertaken to produce.

6. Recording the same, this petition is closed with a direction to the Sub Inspector of Police, Vellode Police Station, Erode District, to proceed with the enquiry on the complaint dated 11.05.2016 and take action in accordance with law.
