Respondents PRAYER : Writ Petitions filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 3 to permit the petitioners to write the Language Paper-I and Language Paper-II in Hindi Language instead of Tamil Language in the SSLC examination to be conducted by the respondents 1 and 3 on 14.03.2019 and 18.03.2019 respectively as mentioned wrongly in the application made by the 4th respondent before the 1st respondent by considering the representation dated 29.01.2019.

O R D E R
The writ petition is filed for a mandamus seeking a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to permit the petitioners to write the Language Paper-I and Language Paper-II in Hindi Language instead of Tamil Language in the SSLC examination, which is commencing today i.e. 14.03.2019.
2. The petitioners are all private candidates and taken up coaching through the fourth respondent-private tuition centre. It is stated that only after the receipt of the Hall Ticket, they realised that the first language is mentioned as Tamil, whereas, all the petitioners had their first language only as Hindi.
3. Upon instructions, the learned Government Advocate affirmed the fact that all the petitioners had studied only
Hindi as the first language and submitted that the official respondents had changed the Hall Ticket and also the centre for examination, where the students have to appear and issued the same yesterday evening. The copies of the same are produced before this Court today. The same is recorded.
4. This Court places on record the efforts taken by Mrs.P.Kavitha, the learned Government Advocate and also the swift action taken by the respondents 1 to 3 enabling the students to appear for the examination, though they had come at the eleventh hour.
5. As the prayer of the petitioners are satisfied, the writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
