O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the FIR registered in Crime No.443 of 2018 on the file of the first respondent for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 448 & 427 of IPC. 2.

On instruction, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the first respondent police submitted that the first respondent has completed the investigation in Crime No.443 of 2018 and filed final report before the learned XVII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai and the same has not been taken on file. 3.

Considering the above submissions, no investigation is pending on the file of the first respondent and the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous. However, the trial Court viz., the

learned XVII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai, is directed to take cognizance on the final report filed by the first respondent in Crime No.443 of 2018, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
