2. The allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner joined hands with other accused found to be transported 1.470 kgs of methamphetamine on 11.06.2024 and that the petitioner and other accused were arrested with contraband. Hence, the case has been registered.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is in custody for more than one year and in this case totally there are seven accused. Since, no progress in the trial they come forward with the bail petition on the ground that he is in continuous incarceration.

4. However on perusal of record reveals that stage by stage the case been progressed and charges were also framed on 02.09.2025 now pending for examination of witnesses. Since huge commercial quantity has been recovered from the petitioner, and the petitioner failed to satisfy Section 37 of the NDPS Act and there is no ground for granting bail. Hence I am not inclined to consider the petition for grant of bail to the petitioner.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. 19.09.2025 ssi 2/4
