The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to consider his application dated 15.12.2014 seeking for shifting license to the petitioner's Saw Mill as contemplated under Rule 11(1) of the Tamil Nadu Regulation of Wood Based Industries Rules, 2010.

The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that even though, the petitioner has made such an application as early as on 15.12.2014, the said application seeking for issuing shifting license has not been considered and the 2nd respondent has not passed any orders so far on the said application. 4.
Considering the above stated facts and circumstances, without expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner with regard to his request for shifting licence to his Saw Mill, I only direct the 2nd respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 15.12.2014 and pass appropriate orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
