O R D E R

The petitioner seeks transfer of H.M.O.P.No.54 of 2023 from the file of the Family Court at Salem to the file of the Family Court at Erode.

2. The distance between Erode and Salem is hardly about 70 kms. 1/4

Summons were served, immediately the Tr.C.M.P. seems to have been filed.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that she is unable to travel from Erode to Salem and that she has to appear for every hearing before the Family Court, Salem.

4. Taking the overall circumstances into consideration, I am inclined to transfer the case from the file of the Family Court at Salem to the Family Court at Erode. The husband need not appear for every hearing. The learned Family Court Judge is requested to consider the appearance of the party only for the essential hearings, and for all the other hearings, the party may be represented through a counsel.

5. With the above observation, the Tr.C.M.P. is allowed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 05.04.2024 Index : Yes/No Sgl 2/4
