O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to learned learned XVII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet to dispose the domestic violence petition in M.C.No.45 of 2015.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned counsel for the respondents.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners have filed the petition in M.C.No.45 of 2015 before the learned XVII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai under Domestic Violence Act section 12 r/w Sections 18,19,20,22 and 23 of Protection of Women from Domestic Violence https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Act seeking maintenance and other reliefs. He further submitted that the petitioners continuously appearing before the Magistrate Court, but there is no progress in the trial.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the Maintenance Case of the year is 2015, this Court deems it fit to direct the learned XVII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai, to complete the trial proceedings in M.C.No.45 of 2015, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
