Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to Transfer/Re-Deploy the petitioner as Handloom Inspector in the parent department at second respondent office taking into account of re-fixation of 1/4

seniority and in terms of Clause 3(iii) of G.O.Ms.No.22 Handlooms, Handicrafts, Textiles and Khadi Department dated 02.03.2022 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 16.02.2024 within the period that may be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction directing the first respondent to Transfer/Re-Deploy the petitioner as Handloom Inspector in the parent department at second respondent office taking into account of re-fixation of seniority and in terms of Clause 3(iii) of G.O.Ms.No.22 Handlooms, Handicrafts, Textiles and Khadi Department dated 02.03.2022 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 16.02.2024 within the period that may be stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ 2/4

petition, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 16.02.2024 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
