ORDER

This Court, by an order dated 19.11.2015 in Crl.O.P.No.26827 of 2015, directed the respondent herein to conduct enquiry on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 18.9.2015 and upon enquiry, if materials are gathered indicating commission of any cognizable offence,

he was directed to proceed further in accordance with law, as early as possible. Alleging that the said order has not been complied with, the present contempt petition has been filed.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing on 5.10.2016, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that pursuant to the order passed by this Court, FIR has been registered in Crime No.347 of 2016. However, learned counsel for the petitioner was not present. Hence, the matter was directed to be posted today under the caption 'for dismissal'. Even today, when the matter was called, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Hence, the contempt petition is dismissed for nonprosecution.
