O R D E R

This criminal original petition has been filed challenging the order passed by the Court below in Crl.M.P.No.6214 of 2024, dated 29.02.2024, dismissing the application filed by the petitioner for modification of one of the condition that was imposed by the Court below while granting anticipatory bail in Crl.M.P.No.4944 of 2024. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondent. 3.The petitioners apprehended arrest by the respondent police in Crime No.189 of 2023. Hence, they filed an anticipatory bail in Crl.M.P.No.4944 of 2024. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the anticipatory bail was granted by imposing certain conditions. The petitioners are aggrieved by one of the condition that was imposed by the Court below to the extent that the petitioners must execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- each with two sureties out of which one surety must be a cash surety. The petitioners filed a modification petition before the Court below in 2/4

Crl.M.P.No.6214 of 2024 and the same was dismissed by an order dated 29.02.2024. Aggrieved by the same, the present criminal original petition has been filed before this Court.

4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to modify the condition imposed by the Court below in Crl.M.P.No.4944 of 2024 and the petitioners are directed to execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties each for a like sum. The petitioners are directed to appear before the II Metropolitan Magistrate, Chennai, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The other conditions imposed by the Court below shall stand as it is.
