ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 3498-A and 406 79 and 430 of IPC in Crime No.not known of 2020, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The defacto complainant is the wife of the 1st petitioner and the other petitioners are her in-laws. It is the case of the prosecution that the petitioners are alleged to have demanded dowry from the defacto complainant and also ill treated her.

3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. Learned counsel representing defacto complainant sought time to move intervening application.

5. At this juncture, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the matter may be placed before the mediation centre attached to this court, so that the dispute may be settled amicably.

6. In view of the submissions made above, the matter is referred to mediation before the Mediation and Conciliation attached to this Court. Both the parties shall appear before the Mediation Centre on 3.4.2020 at 3.30 p.m. The Mediation Centre shall place the mediation report before this Court. If the mediation fails, the matter shall be posted before this Court.

7. Till the mediation process is over, the Police shall not arrest the petitioners.
