Prayer: Writ Petition filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Declaration, declaring that the selection of the respondents 5 to 8 for provisionally eligible for appointment as Sub-Staff (SS) in Chennai Region (2012-2013) in pursuance of Notification of Result with respect to Recruitment of Safai Karmachari Cum Sub-staff in Chennai Region (2012-2013) dated 31.01.2013 made by the third respondent is invalid, null and void and consequently, direct the respondents 1 to 4 to consider the petitioner to the post of Sub-Staff (SS) in Chennai Region (2012-2013) in the place of respondents 5 to 8.

Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the first to fourth respondents/the Central Bank of India submitted that the writ petition is challenging the appointment of the respondents 5 to 8 as sweeper as Part Time Karmachari (PTSK) in the year 2013.

3. It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the eighth respondent that eight respondent has passed away. Since the recruitment is of 3/6

the year 2013, now 11 years lapsed. Hence, nothing survives in this writ petition for further adjudication.

4. In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the first to fourth respondents and learned counsel for the eight respondent, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
