Respondent(s) PRAYER:-Writ Petition filed under article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for an issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to rectify the defects committed during the updating Registry (UDR) Scheme in respect of the petitioner's land in Vengalapuram Village S.No. No. 330/2 and 330/3, admeasuring 0.03.0 Ares and 0.80.0 Ares respectively in Patta No. 303 wrongly/erroneously issued UDR patta to the respondents No. 5 and 6, the adjacent land owners and thereby to include the said lands in Vengalapuram Village S.No. No. 330/2 and 330/3, admeasuring 0.03.0 Ares and 0.80.0 Ares to the Patta No. 453 of the petitioner and his brother, the legal heirs of the original land owners based on the representation of the petitioner dated 28.08.2023. ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking to direct the 2nd respondent to rectify the defects committed during the updation of the Registry (UDR)

Scheme in respect of the petitioner's land and thereby to include the lands in Vengalapuram Village situate at S.No.330/2 and 330/3, admeasuring 0.03.0 Ares and 0.80.0 Ares in the Patta No. 453 of the petitioner and his brother, based on the petitioner's representation dated 28.08.2023. 2.Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that erroneously the patta has been issued in favour of the respondents 5 and 6 in respect of the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition. The respondents 5 and 6 are the adjacent land owners who are nothing to do with the subject property. Therefore, the petitioner made a representation dated 28.085.2023 to the official respondents seeking to rectify the error and issue patta in favour of the petitioner and his brother in respect of the subject property. However, the representation of the petitioner has not been considered till date. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

3.Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 would submit that the petitioner's representation dated 28.08.2023 will be considered within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 4.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4.

5.Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and in view of the limited prayer sought for in this Writ Petition, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 28.08.2023 by taking into consideration the 4th respondent's report dated 22.04.2022 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law. Such exercise shall be carried out by the 2nd respondent within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
