Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, 1950, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Fourth Respondent to conduct a meeting of the Board of Trustees, elect a Chairman amongst them as per the order of the Third Respondent dated 10.05.2023 made in Se.Mu.Na.Ka. No. 855/2023 A6 for Arulmigu Mariamman Kovil, Sinsuvadi, Pollachi Taluk, Coimbatore District and to comply with all the directions cited therein within a strict time frame fixed by the Court in the light of the representation made by the Petitioner on 10.11.2023.

Heard Mr. T.S.Vijaya Raghavan, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner and Mr. K.Karthikeyan, Learned Government Advocate who takes notice for the Respondents and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties.

The Petitioner, who has been appointed as a Trustee of Arulmigu Mariamman Temple, Sinsuvadi, Pollachi Taluk, Coimbatore District, has filed this Writ Petition for directing the Fourth Respondent to conduct a meeting of the Board of Trustees to elect a Chairman amongst them as per the Order in Se. 2/5
Mu. Na. Ka. No. 855/2023 A6 dated 10.05.2023 passed by the Third Respondent for Arulmigu Mariamman Kovil, Sinsuvadi, Pollachi Taluk, Coimbatore District and to comply with the directions issued therein within a time limit that may be fixed by this Court by considering his representation dated 10.11.2023 made in that regard.

Learned Government Advocate appearing for the Respondents has produced copy of the Proceedings in Na. Ka. No. 855/2023/A6 dated 30.06.2023 passed by the Third Respondent cancelling the Trusteeship of the Petitioner and its copy has been placed on record. In such circumstances, nothing remains for further consideration in the Writ Petition, but if the Petitioner still has any grievance to be redressed in the matter, he is not precluded from working out his remedies before the proper forum in the manner recognized by law.
In the result, the Writ Petition is disposed with the aforesaid observations. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. No costs.
