This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the FIR registered in Crime No.12 of 2023 on the file of the

respondent police for the offences under Sections 296(b), 323, 506(1) of IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002.

2. On instructions, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent submitted that the investigation in Crime No.12 of 2023 has been completed and the final report was filed before the XVII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai on 27.07.2024.

3. In view of the above submission, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
