The prayer sought for in the present petition is to call for the entire records in PRC.No.40 of 2017 pending on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.IV, Salem District and quash the proceedings against the petitioner.
2. It is submitted that, pending Criminal Original Petition, the petitioners and the 2nd respondent/defacto complainant have amicably resolved the dispute between themselves.

3. Both the learned counsel have identified the de-facto complainant, who is present before this Court today. In order to identify the petitioners and the 2nd respondent/defacto complainant, they have submitted the photo copies of their Aadhar Cards viz.,1.Yuvaraj Thiyagarajan - 965073496817 and 2.Nagoor Hanifa -637904396420 after verification of the original, the same are recorded.
4. Today, an affidavit dated 06.02.2018 also filed by the 2nd respondent/defacto complainant to the effect that he has no objection to quash the proceedings in PRC.No.40 of 2017 pending on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.IV, Salem District.
5. Recording the same, the proceedings in PRC.No.40 of 2017 pending on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.IV, Salem District is quashed. The Criminal Original Petition is allowed. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
