Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of mandamus directing the first respondent to consider and pass orders on the application/representation of the petitioner dated 24.06.2014 for issuance of licence/certificate as Street Vendor in accordance with law.

ORDER

This writ petition is filed to direct the first respondent to consider and pass orders on the application/representation of the petitioner dated 24.06.2014 for issuance of licence/certificate as Street Vendor in accordance with law.

2. The petitioner's request can only be made before the Vending Committee, which has been constituted by the order passed by this Court and followed by the Government Order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Considering the facts of the case and interim injunction has already been granted coupled with the import of Section 16 of the Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2014, the petitioner is directed to make an application before the Vending Committee within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Till passing orders on the said application, the interim injunction already granted shall continue. The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
