O R D E R
The present Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct respondents 1 to 4 to take appropriate action against the 5th respondent based upon the
complaint given by the petitioner dated 16.10.2015 and to initiate criminal and disciplinary proceedings against the fifth respondent.
2. According to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the fifth respondent, who was working as the Inspector of Police, North Police Station, Tiruppur, has received bribe from one Neethirajan for evicting the petitioner's brother from his shop, beaten the petitioner and his brother and caused bodily injury, and has also stolen a sum of Rs.49,500/- from the petitioner's house and CCTV camera from the shop of the petitioner's brother and lodged a false case as though they were assembling near Tiruppur Bus Stand to commit a dacoity. Hence, he gave complaint to respondents 1 to 4 as early as on 16.10.2015, which is still pending without any action.
3. Heard Mr.N.Inbanathan, Additional Government Pleader learned Special Government Pleader, appearing on behalf of the respondents.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made on either side, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the complaint, directs the first to fourth respondents to consider the petitioner's complaint dated 16.10.2015 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as the fifth respondent herein and also affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, fifth respondent herein as well as any of the interested parties, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
