The relief sought in this writ petition is to direct the first respondent to de-freeze the petitioner's pension in Savings Bank Account No.20041403537 lying in State Bank of India, Ashok Nagar Branch, Chennai.

2. Heard the learned counsel on both sides and perused the materials placed before this Court.

3. By letter dated 19.03.2021, the Superintendent of Police, Economic Offences Division, C.I.D, Bangalore, communicated to the Assistant Registrar (Writs), Madras High Court, that the petitioner's Savings Bank Account has already been de-freezed and the same was also intimated to the petitioner through Registered Post.

4. In such view of the matter, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
