ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by V.SIVAGNANAM, J.] Seeking a direction to the second respondent to produce the petitioner's daughter Nandhini, aged about 21 years, from the illegal custody of the third respondent before this Court and to set her at liberty, the present habeas corpus petition has been filed.

2.It is the case of the petitioner that her daughter Nandhini, aged about 21 years went missing from 21.02.2020 and that the police are not taking effective steps to secure her. 3.Today, Mr.K.Vijayakumar, Special Sub Inspector of Police, Vellode Police Station, Erode District is present. The petitioner, detenue - Nandhini and the third respondent are also present.

4.When enquired by us, Nandhini stated that her date of birth is 23.07.1999 and that she was in love with the third respondent, which was not to the liking of her parents and therefore, she eloped with him and got married on 05.06.2020. Thus, we find that Nandhini is not in the illegal custody of anyone.

5.In view of the above, this habeas corpus petition stands closed.
