Respondents Prayer : The writ petition is filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to select the petitioner for appointment as Sub Inspector of Police in pursuance of the cut off marks secured by him in the recruitment process conducted in the year 1997-98 as per the orders of the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal in O.A.No.9825 of 1998 etc., dated 19.7.2001 and also based on the the orders of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in S.L.P.No.21828 of 2006 in Civil Appeal No.7667 of 2014 etc., dated 07.08.2014 and appoint him as Sub Inspector of Police and grant him all consequential service and monetary benefits.

O R D E R
Heard the learned counsel, appearing on behalf of the petitioner, as well as the learned counsel, appearing on behalf of the respondents.
2.This writ petition has been filed, praying that this Court may be pleased to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the
respondents to select and appoint the petitioner, as a Sub Inspector of Police, based on the cut off marks secured by him, in the recruitment held in the year 1997-98, in the light of the orders of the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal, in O.A.No.9825 of 1998, etc., batch, dated 19.7.2001, as well as the orders of the Supreme Court, in Civil Appeal No.7667 of 2014 etc., batch, dated 07.08.2014, and grant him all consequential service and monetary benefits.
3. At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned counsel, appearing on behalf of the respondents had placed before this Court, a copy of the order passed by the learned Single Judge of this Court, dated 27.01.2016, in a batch of writ petitions, in W.P.No.26325 of 2015 etc., batch, and had submitted that in view of the order passed by the learned Single Judge of this Court, in the above said batch of writ petitions, this writ petition is liable to be dismissed.
4. The learned counsel, appearing on behalf of the petitioner had not refuted the said submissions made by the respondents' counsel.
5. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsels, appearing on behalf of the petitioner, as well as the respondents, and following the orders passed by the learned Single Judge of this Court, dated 27.01.2016, in a batch of writ petitions, in W.P.No.26325 of 2015 etc., batch, this Court finds it appropriate to dismiss the writ petition. Hence, it is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected M.P. is also dismissed.
