A.No.1492 of 2022 A.No.1492 of 2022 SENTHILKUMAR RAMAMOORTHY,J The applicant seeks leave to institute the suit against the respondents 1 to 3, 5 to 13, 15 to 28, 31, 33 and 34 before this Court. The applicant asserts that it is the producer of a movie titled DASVI in the Hindi language, which is slated for release in several cities including Chennai. Since the above mentioned respondents carry on business outside the jurisdiction of this Court, the present application is filed.

2. Upon examining the draft plaint and the affidavit in support of the application, it appears that at least a part of the cause of action has arisen within the jurisdiction of this Court. Accordingly, A.No.1492 of 2022 is allowed by granting leave to the applicant to institute the suit against respondents 1 to 3, 5 to 13, 15 to 28, 31, 33 and 34 before this Court. As a consequence, the Registry is directed to number the suit, if it is otherwise in order.
