PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the records in C3/D.O/16/2025 dated 10.02.2025 on the file of 2nd respondent and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the respondents to produce the petitioner's Husband Balu alias Balakrishnan, aged about 43 years, S/o.Ramachandran who detained in Central Prison, Cuddalore before this court and set him at liberty.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner, as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, by producing a copy of the Government Order in G.O.Rt.No.1523, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XI) Department, dated 24.03.2025, submitted that the detention order has already been revoked.

2. Recording the said submission, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands dismissed as infructuous.
