ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence under Sections 4(1)(a), 4(1-A) of TNP Act and Section 328 of IPC in Cr.No.268 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner was found in possession of 28 liquor bottles and 14 Kgs of Mava and the same was seized by the respondent police. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case. 4.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner is a habitual offender and further submitted that there are eighteen previous cases pending against the petitioner. 5.Considering the fact that the petition is the habitual offender and there are eighteen previous cases pending against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
