The petitioner, who apprehends arrest for the alleged offence under Sections 294(b), 353, 349 and 506(ii) of IPC in Crime No.1122 of 2023, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the on 16.09.2023 when the petitioner brought his dog to Thiruthani Veterinary Clinic for treatment, the dog barked to public and cattle owners. When the same was questioned by defacto complainant/Assistant Veterinary Doctor, the petitioner abused her in a filthy language and also threatened her with dire consequences. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and a false case has been foisted against him. 4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) for the respondent police submitted that petitioner went to the veterinary clinic along with his dog. When the dog barks to public, he refused to control over the dog and also threatened the doctor while discharging the official duty. Hence, he opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case and considering the atrocity made by the petitioner in public place, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
