ORDER
[Order of the Court was made by HULUVADI G.RAMESH, J] Heard the learned counsel for the appellant and Mr.L.P.Shanmugasundaram, learned Special Government Pleader [Coop.] appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2. The learned Special Government Pleader [Coop.] would submit that the order and direction of this Court passed in WA.No.94/2016 dated 01.02.2016, which is the subject matter of contempt, has been complied with and the respondent / contemnor has completed the enquiry and has submitted a detailed Enquiry Report dated 24.10.2016 to the Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Kilpauk, Chennai-10, the 2nd respondent herein. He has also produced a copy of the said Enquiry Report dated 24.10.2016 before this Court today. The same is placed on record.
The learned counsel for the appellant prays for an opportunity to challenge the same in the manner known to law.
In view of the said development, nothing survives for adjudication in this contempt petition. Accordingly, the contempt petition is closed. However, the petitioner, if so advised, is at liberty to challenge the Enquiry Report in accordance with law.
