Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 10.10.2022 with a reasonable time as fixed by this Court and pass orders for conducting the festival name 'Elumbai Poombavaiyaki Arulal' in front of the main

entrance of the Arulmigu Kabaleeshwar Thirukovil as per the customary practice.

O R D E R

The learned Government Advocate, appearing on behalf of the respondents brought to the notice of this Court that the festival, namely,'Elumbai Poombavaiyaki Arulal' in front of the main entrance of the Arulmigu Kabaleeshwar Thirukovil was already concluded on 04.04.2023. The said festival was over and therefore, the cause aroused for filing the present writ petition became vanished.

2. The learned Government Advocate, appearing on behalf of the respondents further brought to the notice of this Court that with reference to the issues raised by the petitioner, he has to approach the Competent Civil Court for the purpose of adjudication.

3. May that as it be, the relief as such sought for in the present writ petition cannot be considered, since the petitioner's festival was concluded already. Thus the present writ petition stands closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
