This miscellaneous petition has been filed to condone the delay of 283 days in filing the appeal against the award dated 25.02.2022 made in MACT OP.No.68 of 2016 on the file of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Special Subordinate Judge, Tirupattur.

2. Though the second respondent is served with notice, none appears.

3. I have gone through the affidavit filed in support of the petition and I am satisfied with the reasons stated for the delay of 283 days.

4. Accordingly, the delay of 283 days in filing the appeal is condoned and this miscellaneous petition is ordered.

5. Registry is directed to number the civil miscellaneous appeal, if it is otherwise in order.
