Respondents Prayer:- Habeas Corpus Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of habeas corpus directing the respondents to produce the petitioner's minor daughter Nabisa Begum daughter of Mustakim Khan, aged about 17 years before this Court and from the custody of 3rd respondent and hand over the petitioner.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by A.D.JAGADISH CHANDIRA, J.,] (1) The present petition is filed by the petitioner, father of the detenue Nabisa Begum, aged about 17 years, who is said to be in the illegal custody of the 3rd respondent herein.

(2) Mr.R.Muniappa Raj, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice on behalf of respondents 1 and 2. He would submit that this is a case of love affair.

(3) When the matter is taken up today, the alleged detenue Nabisa Begum is produced before us by the respondent police. (4) On enquiry, she submitted that her date of birth is 04.05.2005 and that she has completed her X Standard. She has also expressed her willingness to go along with her parents, who are present in Court today.

(5) The parents of Nabisa Begum are also willing to take her back home.

(6) Recording the statements of Nabisa Begum and her parents, and finding that she is a major, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed as no further orders are necessary.
