This petition is filed to condone the delay of 1835 days in filing the above appeal.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the reasons for the delay have been stated in paragraphs 5, 6 and 7 of the affidavit filed in support of the petition and prayed for allowing the petition.

3. The learned counsel for the respondent per contra, submitted that the delay may be condoned on the condition that the appellants forfeit the interest for the delay period.

4. Perused the affidavit and heard learned counsels on either side.

5. Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the delay is condoned and this petition is ordered on condition that the appellants shall forfeit the interest for the delay period of 1835 days, in the event of this Court enhancing the compensation. 1/2 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
