ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to modify the conditions imposed by the Court below in Crl.M.P.No.20082 of 2018 dated 26.11.2018, for the offence under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 323, 328, 506(ii) of IPC r/w Section 24(1) of Cigaretta and other Tobacco Products Acts 2003, Section 4 of Tamilnadu Prohibition of Smoking and Spitting Act, 2003 in Crime No.548 of 2018, while granting anticipatory bail.

2. Heard both sides.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has complied with the conditions imposed by the Court below in Crl.M.P.No.20082 of 2018, dated 26.11.2018 regularly. Hence, the petitioner filed relaxation petition before the Court below in Crl.M.P.No.4516 of 2019 praying to relax the said conditions imposed on the petitioner, but the same was dismissed by the Court below by an order dated 07.03.2019. Therefore, he prays for relaxation of the conditions imposed by the Court below.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that the petitioner has not complied with the condition from 11.12.2019 and only from 15.02.2019 he has been complying with the condition regularly.

5. Considering the above submissions made by both the counsel, the condition imposed by the Court below in Crl.M.P.No.20082 of 2018 dated 26.11.2018 is modified to the effect that, the petitioner shall report before the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m. for a period of three weeks and thereafter as and when required for interrogation, whereas the other conditions shall remain intact.
