O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the second respondent police to investigate the case in Crime No.298 of 2018 on the file of the second respondent police.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that the FIR has been registered in Crime No.298 of 2018 for the offence under Sections 147, 294(b), 355, 506(ii) of IPC and Sections 3(1)(g), 3(1)(w)(i), 3(1)(r), 3(1)(s), 3(2)(va) of the SC and ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Act 2015 and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002 and the investigation is pending.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the second respondent to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.298 of 2018, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
