This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the Principal District and Sessions Court, Chengalpattu to pass appropriate order in the case pending in Crl.M.P.No.6960 of 2019 in connection with Crime No.529 of 2019 on the file of the respondent police.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Mohamed Riyaz, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondent.

3. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the learned Principal District and Sessions Court, Chengalpattu to expedite the hearing in Crl.M.P.No.6960 of 2019 and complete the same, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
