O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by S.MANIKUMAR, J.) On 25/2/2017, a case has been registered in Crime No.743 of 2017, on the file of J-1, Saidapet Police Station, Chennai, under the heading "woman missing".

2. Contending inter alia that no action has been taken, the petitioner has sought for a writ of Habeas Corpus, to produce the corpus of his daughter K.Iswarya, aged about 18 years. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. On this day, when the matter is listed for hearing, Mr.M.Jaikumar, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the girl has been secured by the Police and though sought to be handed over to the father, she preferred to stay in the hostel. He further submitted that the instant Habeas Corpus petition be dismissed as withdrawn and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.

4. In view of the above, this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
