Today, this criminal original petition has been again listed under the caption "for being mentioned" at the instance of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners.
2. This Court by an order dated 16.06.2021, directed the petitioners to make a non-refundable deposit of Rs.5,000/-(Rupees five thousand only) each through demand draft in favour of the District Medical Officer, Vellore District for the treatment of the COVID-19 patients instead of depositing the amount to the credit of "Apres Children Home", Cuddalore District as stated in paragraph 6(a) of the order dated 01.04.2021.
3. Now, it is submitted by the petitioners that they find it difficult to deposit the amount in the office of the District Medical Office, Vellore District. Mr.L.Baskar, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the petitioners may be directed to deposit the amount to the Dean, Government Vellore Medical College and Hospital, Vellore. 1/3

Considering the above circumstances, instead of depositing the amount to the credit of District Medical Office, Vellore District, the petitioners are now directed to make a non-refundable deposit of Rs.5,000/-(Rupees five thousand only) each through demand draft in favour of the Dean, Government Vellore Medical College and Hospital, Adukkamparai, Vellore - 632 001 for the treatment of the COVID-19 patients, without prejudice to their defence before the trial Court and the learned Judicial Magistrate, after perusing the challan/receipt, shall accept the sureties furnished by the petitioners. The said deposit shall be made by the petitioners within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the time granted to execute the sureties is extended by two weeks thereafter.
5. The Registry is directed to issue fresh order copy to the parties after carrying out the above correction.
