O R D E R

Heard Mr.S.D.Santhanakrishnan, Learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs. P. Rjalakshmi, learned Government Advocate accepting notice for the contemnor.

Petitioner filed a writ petition in W.P.No.30522 of 2015 to direct the respondent contemnor to consider his representation and take action against the President of

Veyyalur Panchayat viz., U.Shanthi. Writ petition was disposed on 06.11.2015 with a direction to consider his representation. It appears that after the order was passed a notice was issued on 27.01.2016 directing the petitioner to appear for an enquiry on 30.01.2016. After which the petitioner has not been intimated as to what action has been taken.

3. Considering the facts, this Court is inclined to grant one more opportunity to the respondent and the respondent is directed to pass orders pursuant to such enquiry on or before 11.10.2016.

With the above direction, the contempt petition is closed. Liberty is granted to the petitioner to reopen the contempt petition if the order is not complied with.
