Respondents Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of habeas corpus calling for the records pertaining to the order of detention passed by the second respondent in B.D.F.G.I.S.S.V. No.1361 of 2014 dated 23.9.2014 set aside the same direct to produce the detenu Mr.Bindhi @ Kalaivanan, son of Gunalan, aged about 35 years and presently detained in Central Prison at Puzhal, Chennai, before this Court and set him at liberty. O R D E R

The petitioner, who is the wife of the detenu, Bindhi @ Kalaivanan, son of Gunalan, aged about 35 years, has come forward with this petition challenging the detention order passed by the 2nd respondent dated 23.9.2014 against her husband branding him as a "Goonda" under the Tamil Nadu Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Bootleggers, Drug Offenders, Forest Offenders, Goondas, Immoral Traffic Offenders, Sand Offenders, Slum Grabbers and Video Pirates Act, 1982 [Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982].

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the order of detention passed by the 2nd respondent as against the husband of the petitioner dated 23.9.2014 has been revoked by the Government in G.O. [Rt] No.6049, dated 19.11.2014 and he has also produced a copy of the said order.
