Respondents Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, pleased to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to accept the application submitted by the Petitioner dated 02.05.2017 for General Transfer counseling and allowing the Petitioner to 19.05.2017 as per G.O.(1D) No.256 School Education Department dated 19.04.2017 by reckoning the seniority of the Petitioner from the date of appointment to the post of Headmaster (i.e) 21.06.2012. The Writ Petitioner though claimed a larger prayer in this Writ petition for a direction to accept the application submitted by the petitioner on 02.05.2017 in respect of permitting the writ petitioner to participate in the General transfer counseling to be held on 19.05.2017, the learned counsel for writ petitioner is confining the prayer to the extent of considering the application which was submitted before the 2nd respondent.

2. Without going into the merits of the case, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the application submitted by the writ petitioner on 02.05.2017 on merits and to pass https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

appropriate orders in accordance with law at the earliest possible preferably before the commencement of the transfer counseling.

3. The writ petition is disposed of, accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected Writ Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
