Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein the High Court will be pleased to modify the condition imposed by this Honourable court directing the petitioner to execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- each with two sureties, of whom, one surety must be a blood relative each for like sum to the satisfaction of the respondent police or the police officer who intends to arrest or to the satisfaction of Judicial Magistrate concerned and may be pleased to permit them to produce sureties who are not the blood relatives of the petitioners.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.H.RAJASEKAR, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR. K.MATHAN, Govt.Advocate( Crl. Side) on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to modify one of the condition imposed on the petitioner while granting anticipatory bail on 4.9.2017.

2. This Court, while granting anticipatory bail to the petitioners, had directed that the petitioners shall execute a bond for Rs.10,000/= (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties out of which one surety should be a blood relative. While so, the present application has been filed for modification of the condition relating to blood relative by contending that no blood relative has come forward to stand sutety for the petitioners.

3. In such circumstances, the petitioners are permitted to furnish surety of any other close relative like wife or any other close relative. Time is extended by two weeks from the date of receipt of the amended copy of this order to comply with the order dated 4.9.17 passed in Crl. O.P. No. 17680 of 2017.
