PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to set aside the order made in Crl.MP. 187 of 2020 and cancel the Anticipatory Bail granted to the petitioner / accused 6 and 7 in Crl.MP.No.74 of 2020 on the file of learned Principal District and Session Court, Erode in order dated 26.02.2020.

ORDER

This petition has been filed challenging the order passed by the Court below dismissing the application filed for cancellation of anticipatory bail.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondent police.

3.This Court does not find any illegality or infirmity in the order passed by the Court below in the present case. The 1st and 2nd respondent have not filed any anticipatory bail petition https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

in this Court and therefore, the Court below was perfectly right in finding that the anticipatory bail granted to them cannot be cancelled on that ground.

4.In the result, this criminal original petition is dismissed.
